Tebbs Bend Battlefield
The 1863 Battle of Tebbs Bend / Green River Bridge took place on a bend in the Green River 8 miles from Campbellsville and was an early omen of the disaster to befall General John Hunt Morgan on his Great Indiana and Ohio Raid. A self-guided driving tour brochure of the battlefield is available at the tourist commission or at Green River Lake Corps of Engineers Visitor Center.
